Motivation is the base of our methodology. If students are motivated, they will be active and will involve themselves to discover new things. Just then, their abilities will become limitless.
What do we do to get them involved?

To connect with them and enjoy the mutual company. We listen to them to know what are they really interested in and base our activities on their preferences.

Because only when they will figure out how important it is to use English in their lives, they will want to be completely involved, trying to know everything about the language. We become their guide during the learning process.

In Angloschool Idiomes we are creative and we use innovation as a tool to motivate our students, offering dynamic sessions to awake their interest. Routine is repetitive and boring, so we do not just follow a book; every day students come to class and feel eager to discover what they will be doing. It feels good when they ask: What are we doing today?

At the end of each term, we give symbolic medals –gold, silver and bronze- according to their attitude and participation in the lessons. That encourages them to always be participating progressively, without any type of pressure as they will not receive any punishment. If they get an excellent mark in all the features assessed, they get a diploma for the great job done throughout the semester.

We help them to set goals and to foster their self-esteem. Apart from the activities done in class, we do activities together with the elder students.

To carry out the different activities: games, karaoke, storytelling, films, and etcetera. When they are 7 years old they start communicating with children, who are native English speakers from around the world. They have different traditions, but they also have many similar things. We use the email, Power Point and Skype to talk directly with them face to face and in English. By doing this, we enhance the values of friendship, diversity, respect towards different cultures and the interaction.

We make them realize how important it is to speak English and the independence that it gives to them once they can speak properly.

The great challenge: to get the C1 level before they are 18. We start with the B1 and the next year they want to get the B2. Once done that, English will not be an obstacle but a great opportunity to fulfill their dreams.
